PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation and breakage of knife edges and improve the durability of the knife edge by setting the share points into opposed state, having a material interposed, and by completing press-cutting before the share points collide each other. CONSTITUTION:When knife edges 12 and 13 are pushed from above and under a steel plate 11, the pressing surfaces 12d and 13d contact with the surface of the steel plate 11. The force components of the pressing forces in the horizontal direction due to the inclined surfaces 12d and 13d act onto the steel plate 11, and the pressing forces in the share-point advance direction due to the pressing forces 12d and 13d act. These forces overwhelm the stress of the steel plate 11, and the steel plate 11 is torn-off, generating the divergence in the direction of advance of the share points and the lateral slide along the surface 12d and 13d. |
