In a self-locking belt-reeling device for safety belts, especially in motor vehicles, with a belt band-sensitive and a vehicle-sensitive blocking of the belt-reeling shaft, a locking member mounted eccentrically to the shaft axis being controlled radially outwards, up to engagement with a toothing fixed to the housing, by a control disc mounted centrically relative to the reeling shaft and coupled to the locking member via a pin/slot connection, and the control disc of high mass inertia for the belt band-sensitive blocking being supported resiliently on the reeling shaft and cooperating with a sensor via an external toothing for the vehicle-sensitive blocking, there is the problem that with belt band-sensitive blocking, because of the uncontrolled deflection of the locking member, it is impossible to prevent a tooth-on-tooth blocking of locking-member teeth and the toothing fixed to the housing, with the result that an incorrect locking putting the occupant's safety at risk can occur. To avoid this, it is proposed, in the belt band-sensitive blocking, that the rotational delay of the control disc (13) of high mass inertia be convertible, by means of formations (20, 21, 23, 24, 31) on the control disc (13) of high mass inertia, into a locking movement of the sensor (30) for the vehicle-sensitive blocking. <IMAGE>
