A process is described for the preparation of diepoxyalkylurazoles, for example diglycidylurazoles, starting from N,N,O-triepoxyalkylurazoles, where the O-bonded radical is eliminated and the epoxide groups are subjected to ring opening using hydrohalic acids, and the substances are then converted into the diepoxyalkylurazoles by means of bases.
