An exchangeable cutting body, especially for an internal-recessing and circular tool, has at least one cutter and is provided for attachment to an exchangeable cutting holder (1). To provide an exchangeable cutting body which is suitable especially for an internal-recessing and circular tool introducible into a cavity of small cross-section, and which can absorb a relatively high cutting force for a relatively large recessing depth, there is provided a body part (18) which has a stop part (16) and an essentially central passage hole (15) for a fastening member (8), provided with a counterstop part (17), for fastening the exchangeable cutting body to the exchangeable cutting holder. A rotation-preventing part (12 to 14) of a rotation-preventing device (5 to 7 and 12 to 14) for transmitting a torque between the exchangeable cutting body and the exchangeable cutting holder is arranged on one end face of the body part (Fig. 1). <IMAGE>
