PURPOSE:To drive an internal-combustion engine so surely in an stable manner, by connecting a pinion shaft to an output shaft via a driven gear, while fitting a moving tube member in the pinion shaft and pivotally installing an engaging member in position in a shaft diametral direction. CONSTITUTION:A pinion shaft 5 is connected to an output shaft 1a of a motor part 1 via a driven gear 6, while a moving tube member 7 is fitted in the pinion shaft 5 by means of a one-way clutch 10. An engaging member 15 is attached to a member rotating together with the pinion shaft 5 as one body free of slide motion in a shaft diametral direction. A projection such as an arm or the like is formed in a shaft part of the engaging member 15 whereby separation of a pinion gear 8 and restitution of the moving tube member 7 are all checked. With this constitution, the pinion gear 8 is preventable from its early separation from a ring gear 14, thus an internal combustion engine is stably drivable. |
