PURPOSE:To prevent previously the interruption of an output at an output time point by using plural tables and setting and controlling the areas of these tables to attain checking whether the characters are available at an input time point. CONSTITUTION:A table 3 stores the information which converts the position information supplied to a register 2 into the character information which is indicated previously by an operator as well as the information on a daisy wheel or crown designated by the operator. A table 6 stores the information corresponding to the English, German and French keyboards respectively for checking the character data stored in a memory 5. Thus it is possible to check whether a print means has the type corresponding to the input character by using those two tables 3 and 6. As a result, it is possible to check whether the characters are available at an input time point during production of a sentence. This can prevent previsouly the interruption of an input at an output time point. |
