An inflatable jack for supporting vehicles includes an inflatable bag and a hose for connecting the bag to the exhaust pipe of a vehicle. The hose is connected to the bag by a releasable connection including a female connector part having an internal portion (1) and an external portion (2). The releasable connection also includes a male part which consists primarily of a moulding (6) having two generally cylindrical portions (7) and (8), an annular portion (9) and two handles (10). The external portion (2) of the female connector part is provided with a pair of internally projecting shoulders (21), the lower edge (22) of each of which slopes at a small angle. The end (7) of the male connector part is provided with a pair of shoulders (25), each of which slopes upwardly at a small angle. The male connector part is also provided with projecting ridges (26) and the female part is provided with recesses (24).
