PURPOSE:To elevate the workability by a measuring the temperature at the tip of a drill with an infrared thermometer from the opposite side to the cutting immediately after the cutting of work with the drill rotating at a high speed. CONSTITUTION:An optical head section 1 fixed in a half way on a table of an NC type drilling machine is connected to a temperature measuring section 3 with an optical fiber 2. A signal thereof is memorized into a data memory processor 4 and recorded with a recorder 5. At the cutting, a drill tip 10 is rotated and the temperature of the drill tip 10 rises by a friction heat when an object 7 to be cut is drilled. With the rise of the temperature, radiated infrared energy is detected with an optical head section 1 passing through the optical fiber 2. |
