摘要

(A) Process for inhibiting both microorganisms (esp. fungi) and foam comprises applying an aq. soln. of a quat. ammonium salt of formula (I) to a surface infested by microorganism: R = 1-4C alkyl; R'=a mixt. of branched-chain primary 10C alkyl gps. X = Cl, Br, I, MeSO4 or EtSO4. (B) New biocidal compsns. comprise (I) and a benzalkanium halide.
