摘要 PURPOSE:To decrease pressure loss in a circulating flow path and to decrease the weight of a main body, by providing a guide plate at the center of the main body of a laser case forming a wind channel, providing centrifugal fans at the inside of a guide plate, attaching a flow straightening plate in guide plate, on which anode and cathode plates are provided, and providing a heat exchanger in the vicinity of the anode. CONSTITUTION:Centrifugal fans 13 and a heat exchanger 4 are driven. CO2 is forcibly cooled and circulated. When a DC high voltage is applied between a cathode 6 and an anode 19, glow discharge is generated. Excited energy is made to advance in a wind channel at a right angle with a CO2 circulating path 11 as a laser beam. The laser beam is taken out to the outside. CO2 is flown in the centrifugal direction from both sides of the fans 13. The CO2 is made to flow into a discharge part by a guide plate 12 and a flow straightening part 15 along the wind channel. Therefore, the CO2 stream flows into the discharge part without largely changing the flowing direction and pressure loss is less. Therefore, the amount of air can be increased and the laser oscillating efficiency can be increased. The length of the air path can be shortened. The cross-sectional area of the main body 1 of a case forming the wind channel can be reduced and light weight is obtained.
