<p>There is disclosed a chewing gum composition which comprises a first region, a second region and, optionally, one or more further regions, each region having a different composition, wherein each region is capable of releasing a flavour at a different rate, wherein the first region comprises from 14% to 18% by weight of a gum base and a flavouring agent, and wherein the second region comprises at least 22% by weight of a gum base and a flavouring agent, the percentages being based on the weight of the respective regions of the chewing gum composition. The chewing gums have enhanced flavour impact and quick and sustained flavour release characteristics.</p> |
