PURPOSE:To execute recording of program events of all programs by providing a means for holding the first mask bit, a program status word containing the second mask bit, the first and the second registers, and an instruction processing means. CONSTITUTION:In case of operating a program event recording function whose object is all programs containing an operating system OS, a program event recording condition is set in advance to the first condition register 15, and the first mask bit (SPER)12 of a control register 11 is turned on. Also, the second mask bit (PER)14 of a program status word (PSW)13 is turned off. When the PER bit 14 of the PSW13 is turned off, an instruction processing part 17 checks the SPER bit 12 of the register 11. When the SPER bit 12 is turned on, the instruction processing part 17 executes a program event recording processing whose object is all programs containing the OS, in accordance with a condition which is set to a register 15. When the SPER bit 12 is turned off, the program event recording processing is not executed. |
