PURPOSE:To make it possible to entirely record and regenerate an ultrasonic flaw detection signal and a flaw detection position, by a method wherein the ultrasonic flaw detection signal and a probe position signal are converted to television signals which are, in turn, recorded by a recording and regenerating apparatus. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic flaw detector 2 drives an ultrasonic probe 1 by the flaw detector synchronous signal (c) outputted from a converter 4 to output an ultrasonic video signal (b). This signal (b) is once taken in buffer memory 3 and successively outputted as an intermittent ultrasonic video signal (i) by the control signal (e) of the converter 4. On the other hand, the position signal (f) from a position detector 6 for detecting the position of the ultrasonic probe 1 is converted to a parallel position signal (g) by a position input circuit 7 while said parallel position signal (g) is further converted to a series position signal (h) by a parallel serial converter circuit 8. Subsequently, the intermittent ultrasonic video signal (i) and the series position signal (h) are alternately changed over by a change-over circuit 9 to be inputted to the converter 4 and television signals are recorded by a recording and regenerating apparatus 5. |
