PURPOSE:To provide a photosensitive compsn. contg. a specified diazonium salt and a hygroscopic higher alcohol, which has a high sensitivity and can be used even under high humidity conditions. CONSTITUTION:The compsn. is prepd. by dissolving or dispersing in water a diazonium salt of formula II obtained by recrystallizing a diazonium salt of formula I by use of hydrochloric acid and acidic methanol, a hygroscopic higher alcohol (e.g. ethylene glycol), 0.5-500wt% water-soluble organic polymer (e.g. PVA) and 0.01-1wt% surfactant. EFFECT:The compsn. can be used even under a high relative humidity of 60-70% and forms a photosensitive adhesive film with consistent quality.
