PURPOSE:To form a homogeneous plating layer to small-sized parts by packing densely plural pieces of small-sized parts and dummies consisting of many small- sized metallic balls into a columnar vessel, dipping the same in a plating cell and conducting plating current thereto while rotating the cell. CONSTITUTION:A round bar-shaped electrode 311 is projected in the central shaft part in a circular cylindrical vessel 200 consisting of a side plate 210 composed of an insulating material having many small holes such as a net-like perforated plate made of ''Teflon'', etc., an end plate 230 and a cap 220 screwed to a ring 211 at the end part. Said cap 220 is removed and plural pieces of small-sized parts to be plated and dummies consisting of many small-sized metallic balls are densely packed into the vessel 20 to the extent of obviating generation of large movement in the stage of rotating the vessel and the cap 220 is mounted. While the vessel 200 is rotated around the central shaft part by a driving motor 400 in a plating cell 100, a voltage is impressed between said electrode 311 and another electrode 500 dipped in the cell 100 to conduct plating current by which the plating of the small-sized parts is accomplished.
