PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of unexpected movements and the like in time of braking operation, by installing a spring, which energizes an operated member of a brake in its braking direction, in an interlocking operation part of a directional steering clutch and a brake capable of stopping wheels at both side separately. CONSTITUTION:Inside a transmission case 8, a pinion gear 11 of an input transmission shaft 10 is engaged with a gear 12 of a boss member 13 which is supported by symmetrical intermediate transmission shafts 14 free of relative rotation. In this case, a second collar 21 being slidable in an axial direction is externally fitted in the side of a brake disc 16a of the said shaft 14, while a second spring 22, which energizes the second collar 21 in a braking direction, is internally fitted in a first collar 19. Then, at a time when a clutch 15 gets engaged and a brake 16 is in a nonbraking state, in the case where the clutch 15 is operated for its disengagement, the second coller 21 is moved in a braking direction by the first collar 19 and the second spring 22, pressing each of operated members 16a and 16b, thus the brake 16 is made into a state of being half- braked. |
