PURPOSE:To maintain a prescribed stable posture in moving on water, by controlling the action of the counter rudders of a rapid boat having a two-hull stern, and that of a right and a left horizontal movable blades provided between both the hulls of the stern, depending on the values detected by a pitching sensor, a rolling sensor and a yawing sensor. CONSTITUTION:A rapid boat having two stern hulls 2, 2 is provided with counter rudders 6, and with horizontal movable blades 8, 9 swingable between the stern hulls 2, 2. A pitching sensor, a yawing sensor and a rolling sensor are provided in prescribed positions on the body of the boat to detect the motion of the boat body running on water. The action of the counter rudders 6 and the horizontal movable blades 8, 9 is controlled depending on the values detected by the sensors, to damp the pitching, rolling and yawing of the boat to keep it in a prescribed stable running posture.
