Semi-esters of polyisobutylenesuccinic acid having the formula I in which R1 is a polyisobutylene radical with a molecular weight of 100 to 20,000, R2 and R3 are different from one another and one of these two radicals is a hydrogen radical and the other one of the groups in which R4, R5 is a hydrogen or methyl radical, and R6 is a methyl or ethyl radical. The invention furthermore relates to processes for synthesizing these compounds as well as to preparations which can be converted by radiation into adhesives.
