PURPOSE:To receive smoothly traffic information signals by using the output of a trigger signal detecting circuit to prevent the discontinuation of an automatic sweeping section. CONSTITUTION:When the broadcast of a traffic information station is received with automatic tuning, an SK detection switch 303 is turned on and a signal is supplied to an input terminal at one side of an OR gate 510c. Then an automatic tuning start switch 202 is turned on to drive an automatic tuning sweep circuit 201. Thus a receiving circuit 100 has automatic sweeping. A trigger detecting circuit 203 detects a trigger signal during the automatic sweeping of the circuit 100. Then the output of an SK detecting circuit 301 is set at L together with the output of the circuit 203 set at H respectively. Under such conditions, the output of the circuit 510c is set at L. As a result, an automatic sweeping action is discontinued by receiving only the information on the traffic information broadcasting station after the switch 303 is turned on in an automatic tuning mode.
