PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration of sliding conditions of the endface of vane by providing a pressure relief valve for relieving the back pressure produced through function of vane in oil supply pump chamber thereby suppressing the back pressure and controlling the contact face pressure between the vane and the roller. CONSTITUTION:A relief hole 19 communicating between an oil supply pump chamber 15 and an enclosed container 1 is made through a side cover 9 while a relief valve 20 is arranged in said communicating section. Since the relief valve 20 will open with correspondence to the pressure increment in said chamber 15 to relieve the pressure through said hole 19, the back pressure of the vane 12 will never be excessive thus to never increase the face pressure at the endface of vane 20 and to maintain good sliding conditions against a roller (not shown). Consequently, the reliability of rotary compressor under high speed rotation can be improved. |
