PURPOSE:To obtain a vulcanized object that is vulcanized for a short time, productively, uniformly and strongly by a method wherein primary vulcanization of rubber compound is conducted for a shorter time than the optimum vulcanization time and then the vulcanization is completed in non-oxidizing fluid and keeping the temperature. CONSTITUTION:Primary vulcanization for rubber compound containing crude rubber, vulcanizing agent, vulcanizing accelerator, etc. is conducted, for example, by not pressing, injection molding, etc. for a shorter time than the optimum vulcanizing time (usually in the range where torque increases by 10-90%). Keeping the vulcanizing temperature, secondary vulcanization is conducted to completion in non-oxidizing fluid such as liquid heat medium (such as silicone oil etc.), insert gas, etc. |
