PURPOSE:To uniformalize the distribution of concentration, in a predetermined cross-sectioned area, of biphase fluid of solid and gas which is led into a flowmeter, by providing a cylinder having its cross-sectioned area 4 to 10 times as large as the cross-sectioned area of an inlet pipe and its length 2 times as long as the inner diameter thereof. CONSTITUTION:A rectifier is connected to a pipe line through which biphase liquid of solid and gas flows, by means of flanges 1a, 7a. The fluid flows through an inlet pipe into a body 3 where the solid in the fluid is deflected due to enlargement of the fluid passage therefor so that solid is diffused into the gas to be uniformely distributed. Thus the biphase fluid of solid and fluid in which the solid is uniformly distributed is discharged from the body 3 into an outlet pipe 7. Accordingly, the fluid having the uniform distribution of concentration of solid in the cross-sectioned area of the fluid passage of the outlet pipe 7 flows therethrough so that a flowmeter of, for example, correlation type connected to a pipe line which is connected to the outlet pipe 7 or the flange 7a, may precisely measure the flow rate of solid even if the solid flows into the body 3 from the inlet pipe 1 in its deflected condition. |
