PURPOSE:To enable the printing position to be controlled by every character without expanding the size of a dot matrix in a character pattern image data, by sending the vertical coordinate, wherein the positional compensation data is added to the coordinate of the reference printing position, to an image data memory circuit when the vertical positional compensation data is added to every character pattern to be stored in a character pattern memory circuit and the character pattern is transferred to a character pattern image data memory circuit. CONSTITUTION:The titled control device consists of a control part 1, a character pattern memory circuit 2 storing the character pattern, and an image data memory circuit 3. For example, when the reference printing position form the character 'g' is set on the coordinate (X1, Y0), the left half thereof is to be printed on the basis of the coordinate (X1, Y0+alphag), thereby the character 'g' is printed while being deviated downward by the positional compensation data alphag. |
