<p>PURPOSE:To make control over a pulse motor for turning a rotator into authenticity, by detecting each position of an ignition switch and thereby braking the pulse motor for rotator rotation use, in case of a device which makes a steering lock releasable or lockable without a key. CONSTITUTION:A device bearing the above caption rotates and controls a pulse motor 12 via a control unit 29 on the basis of signals to be inputted according to operation on plural pushbutton switches in an input device 20, and shifts a locking rod of a steering lock to a releasing or locking position by the said motor 12. And, simultaneously it turns an ignition switch 14 round to a lock position, an ACC position and an on-position or a start position. In this case, in time of rotation in the said motor 12, the device is constituted so as to make the motor 12 brakable in order to stop the rotation of the motor 12 at the specified lock position, ACC position and on-position or start position on the basis of signals of each turning angle position discriminated at a position discrimination circuit 28.</p> |
