PURPOSE:To facilitate timing control of copier body by increasing the paper feeding speed of tray having longer paper feed distance when compared with that of tray having shorter paper feed distance. CONSTITUTION:The circumferential speeds of register rolls 2, 2' in copier body or feed rollers 10', 11' of tray separated longer from a paper detector 3 and auxiliary rollers 16a', 16b' arranged in the paper carry path are made higher than those of feed rollers 10, 11 separated shorter from the paper detector 3 and auxiliary rollers 16a, 16b. Consequently, the time required for the paper fed from each tray to arrive to the register rolls 2, 2' or the paper detector 3 is approximately equalized to facilitate timing control of copier body and to make the copying speed constant irrespective of the mounting position of tray. |
