<p>PURPOSE:To make the influence of a bending pressure upon a strip constant regardlessly of a shifting position by correcting the bending pressure based on a roll-shift-position detecting signal in a device for controlling the sheet shape of a strip in the inside of a finishing mill of titled installation. CONSTITUTION:The shape changing portion of a strip 5 which is rolled by the last stand 1 of a finishing mill is detected by a detector 6, and the detected signal is compared with a shape reference signal outputted from a line 8. The shape of strip 5 at the outlet side of stand 1 is controlled to be constant by the deviation signal obtained by said comparison. Hereupon, a shift position detector 14 is attached to an intermediate roll 3 to detect the shifted position of roll 3, and a bending-pressure correcting factor is obtained in accordance with said shifting quantity. The factor is multiplied by said deviation signal by a multiplying circuit 15 to make the effect of bending pressure given to the strip 5 constant by said procedure regardlessly of the shifting quantity.</p> |
