发明名称 STARTING METHOD OF INVERTER FOR ELECTRIC RAILCAR
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To shorten the restarting time of an inverter by using a thyristor for a shortcircuiting unit of a charging resistor, thereby preventing the capacitor from overcharging. CONSTITUTION:A thyristor 5A is connected in parallel with a charging resistor 4, and a voltage detector 7 is connected in parallel with a capacitor 3. When a DC voltage is initially applied, a thyristor 5A is turned OFF, the capacitor 3 is charged by a current fed through the resistor 4, and the charging voltage is detected by the detector 7. After the voltage is higher than the second prescribed voltage E2 and the charging time T0 is elapsed, a gate signal is outputted to the thyristor 5A to shortcircuit the resistor 4, the inverter 1 is operated to supply power to a load 9. When the power is interrupted, with the capacitor 3 as a power source the inverter 1 is operated, but when this voltage drops to the prescribed voltage E0, the operation is stopped, and the thyristor 5A is turned OFF. The similar operation is performed when the voltage is reapplied.</p>
