PURPOSE:To obtain a multi-channel magnetic head suitable for an electronic camera device by providing symmetrically a couple of head chips including a main core made of a metallic magnetic material while clipping a central spacer and an auxiliary core provided with a coil at the outside. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic head H is provided with a couple of head chips H1, H2 of the same shape at both sides while clipping the central spacer 1. The head chips H1, H2 are provided with the main core 2 made of the metallic magnetic material, the auxiliary core 3 made of an oxide magnetic material arranged at the outside and the coil 4 provided to the auxiliary coil 3. The auxiliary core 3 is provided with a magnetic part 3a and a nonmagnetic part 3b and a through-hole 3c to wind the coil 4 at the center. The nonmagnetic part 3b is arranged so as to give lining effect to the main core 2 around a front gap F. Thus, the channel magnetic head suitable for an electronic camera is obtained. |
