PURPOSE:To attain quick program search of a tape by providing a switch signal supply means detecting the end of a recording signal during reproduction of an endless tape and switching the tape running to a fast feeding speed to a tape running circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a tape start switch (S)15 is depressed and only the S15 is brought into the ON-state, a fast feeding drive transistor (TR)3 is turned off via NAND circuits 6-10, a reproduction drive TR2 is turned on and an endless tape drive motor 1 is driven at the normal reproducing speed. When a tape fast feeding S16 is depressed and only the S16 is brought into the ON-state, the TR2 is turned off and the TR3 is turned on and the tape is fed fast. When a misic is finished during tape reproduction and a reproducing signal applied to a line amplifier 20 is zero, a TR26 is turned off, a TR27 is turned on, an input potential of the circuit 7 is changed and the tape is fed fast. When the head reaches a sensing tape part, a sensing switch 17 is turned on, the tape running is stopped and quick tape program search is attained.
