A device for motorized manoeuvring of a counter-balanced folding door (1, 2) consisting of a motor driven driver (11) which is designed to move itself up and down alongside one side edge of the door. The driver is connected via a coupling device (17) to the bottom part of the door leaf (2). Upon opening, this has an initial horizontal oscillatory axel (21), which is parallel to the hinge joint axel (7), that connects the upper and lower parts of the door leaf (1,2) and which is positioned lower than the hinge joint axle. The driver (11) in combination with the coupling device (17) brings about an initial horizontal force effect on the lower part of the door leaf (2) when the door is opened, so that it initially oscillates around the oscillatory axel (21) with accompanying rotation in the hinge joint (7). The coupling between the driver (11) and the lower part of the door leaf (2) is made so that a combined change in the direction of power and power exchange is obtained outgoing from the driver's (11) vertical forces of influence.<IMAGE> |
