PURPOSE:To obtain a sealed lead storage battery which can withstand a large discharge current and can be attached and detached by one point insertion by connecting heat dissipation plates to flat terminals connected to a member such as a battery lid. CONSTITUTION:Positive terminals 1' are soldered 3' to a lead wire under an upper lid 4'. A heat dissipation plate 7 is connected to the raised parts of the positive terminals 1'. A negative terminal 2' is also connected to a heat dissipation plate 7 in the same manner as the positive terminal 1'. The terminals 1' and 2' are prepared by subjecting a brass plate to press work and then performing Ni plating on the brass plate. The heat dissipation plate 7 is an aluminum plate with a fin and usually used for the heat dissipation of a rectifier diode. As a result, the sealed lead storage battery can withstand a large discharge current and can be attached and detached by one point insertion.
