PURPOSE:To compose an auxiliary DC power source of arbitrary voltage with a simple construction by charging voltages generated at two taps substantially symmetrically provided in an autotransformer substantially in a capacitor. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary DC power source 5 has a capacitor 8, a diode 9, an autotransformer 19 having taps (a), (b), and diodes 20, 21 respectively connected with the taps of the transformer 19. The capacitor 8 is charged by the tape (a) in half cycle of the power source 1 in which any of the taps (a), (b) of the transformer 19 such as the tape (a) side becomes a high voltage, while the capacitor 8 is charged from the tape (b) side since the tape (b) side becomes high voltage in the next half cycle. |
