PURPOSE:To obtain the titled sheet having high impact resistance with a low rubber content without cracks nor satin patterns, by polymerising methyl methacrylate, etc. partially with ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, mixing a partial polymer of a monomer therewith, and cast polymerizing the resultant mixture. CONSTITUTION:1-20wt% ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer consisting of 50- 80wt% ethylene and 50-20wt% vinyl acetate is dissolved in methyl methacrylate alone or a mixture consisting essentially thereof, and polymerized partially in the presence of a radical polymerization initiator to give (A) a partial polymer. (B) A partial polymer of methyl methacrylate alone or a monomeric mixture consisting essentially thereof is then mixed with the partial polymer (A) to prepare a mixture containing 0.5-10wt% ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, which is then cast polymerized to afford the aimed resin sheet.
