PURPOSE:To obtain a composition of improved moldability capable of giving adequate products in terms of both transparence and odor, by incorporating specific sorbitol derivative and metal carboxylate in a blend of linear low-density polyethylene and high-pressure low-density polyethylene. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by incorporating (A) 100pts.wt. of a blend made up of A1: 5-95pts.wt. of a linear low-density polyethylene with an MFR 0.01-5g/10min, density 0.905-0.940g/cm<3>, flow ratio (a ratio of MFR at a load of 10kg to that at a load of 2.16kg) 10-30 and the timer for reaching a half of the whole heat quantity generated through its isothermal crystallization at a temperature expressed by the equation I <=60sec and A2: 95- 5pts.wt. of a high-pressure low-density polyethylene with an MFR 4-500g/10min and density 0.900-0.935g/cm<3> with (B) 0.01-0.2(pref. 0.05-0.15)pt.wt. of a compound of formula II (R1 and R2 are each alkyl, alkoxy, etc., l is 0 or 1, m and n are each 0-5), pref. dibenzylidene sorbitol and (C) 0.05-1.5(pref. 0.1-1.0)pt.wt. of a metal carboxylate (pref. 12-hydroxystearic acid metallic soap). |
