PURPOSE:To call an attention to a following car to prevent the occurrence of collision, by a method wherein, with a brake pedal stepped on, an emergency flickering lamp is automatically flickered only during running at a speed of higher than a middle speed of about 40km/h. CONSTITUTION:Another stop switch, aiding to light the stop lamp of a car, is attached to a brake pedal, and is connected to a hazard lamp. And a hazard unit, which is flickered about 110 times a minute, is located therebetween. A unit, responding to wattage of the hazard lamp installed to a car, is used as the hazard unit. Further, a speedometer sensor is located, and is set so that it is operated when a speed exceeds a value higher than a middle speed of about 40km/h. This, if a brake pedal is stepped on only when a car runs at a speed higher than a middle speed, causes flickering of the hazard lamp. If a car runs at speed lower than a middle speed, even if the car collides, a serious accident is hard to occur, and thereby it is prevented from being flickered. |
