PURPOSE:To prevent water hummer while to enable remote operation with foot by providing a back pressure chamber communicated through small hole to the liquid supply port side then coupling said back pressure chamber through a back pressure hose to an operating valve having small delivery hole to be opened/ closed with foot. CONSTITUTION:When not stepping a pedal 56, supply water pressure is applied through small hole 35 to a back pressure chamber 30 to close an annular valve seat 32 through a diaphragm 2. Upon stepping of pedal 56, the valve body 50 of operating valve is pushed down by a shaft 58 to form a flow path through small delivery hole 53 having larger diameter than that of said hole 35, back pressure hose 36, valve chamber 54, cylinder chamber 51 and return hose 39. Since discharge water to the delivery port 24 is more abundant than flow-in water to the back pressure chamber 30, the diaphragm 2 will separate from the annular valve seat 32 to form a flow path through water supply port 22 and delivery port 24 thus to feed water. Motion of diaphragm 2 can be slowed by expanding the back pressure hose 36 when releasing the stepping force of pedal 56 to stop water supply. |
