PURPOSE:To improve straight forward stability at high speed and turning characteristics at low speed simultaneously, by making the hardness of an elastic member installed in a supporting point of an arm supporting rear wheels vary according to a car speed. CONSTITUTION:At a supporting point of a front side lateral link 18 among supporting points for a suspension arm in a rear suspension 14, an elastic member 22 is filled up and tightly attached to space between a fulcrum shaft 21 attached to a car body and a cylindrical coupling part 18a of the link 18. At an interspace between the elastic member 22 and the coupling part 18a of the link 18, a hydraulic chamber 22 is formed in both vertical directions in holding the fulcrum shaft in between by making full use of a part of the elastic member 22, while an oil leading passage 25 branched from an oil return passage 24 of a power steering mechanism 7 is interconnected to these hydraulic chambers 22 and 23 via an interconnecting hole 26 installed in the fulcrum shaft 21 whereby hardness in the elastic member 22 is so designed as to be varied with rise and fall in hydraulic pressure being led into the hydraulic chamber 23. |
