PURPOSE:To maintain the temperature above the dew point of sulfuric acid even if high temperature exhaust gas contacts to the surface of an outer pipe, and to make a transmitting pipe of long life by a method wherein an opening part is provided between an inner pipe and an outer pipe, and the same fluid with heated fluid is filled in said opening at the stationary state. CONSTITUTION:A plural number of double pipes 2 which are composed of the stainless outer pipe 3 which contacts with exhaust gas in the stainless steel casing 1 and the stainless inner pipe 4 which contacts with flowing water are installed, and the opening part 5 is arranged in which water is filled. Two or three of holes 6 for gas venting are provided in the inner pipe 4, and packings 7 are attached between the double pipe 2 and the casing 1 for preventing the leakage of exhaust gas. When exhaust gas of a temperature 350 deg.C flows down vertically along the surface of the outer pipe and water of a temperature 60 deg.C flows in, the surface of the outer pipe becomes high temperature of 169.5 deg.C. The dew point temperature of sulfuric acid is under 120-150 deg.C, accordingly sulfuric acid is not generated on the surface of the outer pipe, so the outer pipe is not corroded and will be of long life heat transmitting pipe. |
