PURPOSE:To obtain an LED array which has a length being roughly equal to the illuminated part of an original surface, and irradiates the light of a uniform and high illuminance to the original surface, by providing an optical converging means on a condensing lens. CONSTITUTION:Supporting bodies 4 are provided opposingly on both side parts of a plate-like substrate 1, by which a condensing lens 3 is held. On the substrate 1, an LED chip 2 is provided at an equal interval on one straight line, and a bellows-like projecting part which becomes an optical converging means is formed on the substrate side of the condensing lens 3. One piece of this projecting part corresponds to one piece of the LED chip, and a diffused light emitted from the LED chip 2 by this projecting part becomes a luminous flux which is made incident roughly vertically to an original surface 10. Therefore, the luminous fluxes from adjacent chips are not superposed to each other, and a uniform illumination which causes no uneven illuminance nor drop in an illuminated part (a) of the original 10 is obtained. |
