PURPOSE:To make it possible to dress a grindstone without moving it by fitting the device (as titled above) vertically at the tip of a sliding plate set on the mounting plate of a grinding head and by fixing an intermediate shaft, which has a dressing tool at its lower end, to this device so as to be capable of moving up and down. CONSTITUTION:When dressing a grindstone 33, a cutting handle 1 is first controlled to lower an intermediate shaft 4 so that a dressing tool 40 goes down by the prescribed amount of cut. Next, the power souce is controlled to operate a feeding motor 26; then a shaft 9 is rotated and a slide plate 7 is moved toward the grindstone 33, and the grindstone 33 is dressed by the dressing tool 40. This slide plate 7 is shifted until a dog 13 hits on a limit switch 15, and, when the dog 13 hits on the switch 15, the feeding motor 26 is reversely rotated and the slide plate 7 is returned to its former position. Thus the dressing is completed. |
