PURPOSE:To carry-out construction work efficiently outside a construction dock by installing a deck crane post and a deck house for which a variety of fittings are mounted, onto an upper deck block and joining the deck crane post and the deck house on a hull, after the whole strains are removed and coating is applied. CONSTITUTION:A deck-crane post 5 is installed onto an upper deck block 13 which is positively turned and tentatively positioned. The fittings such as hand rails, operation board, piping, etc. are installed onto the post 5 before mounting. Then, a deck house 6 onto which a variety of fittings are installed is mounted and joined similarly. Further, all the strains are removed, and coating is applied, and the whole block is mounted onto a hull. Therefore, a ship can be constructed efficiently, independently of the working processes in a construction dock by constructing the upper deck part at the different place from the construction dock.
