PURPOSE:To provide a compact and high-output oscillating rotary actuator by arranging two pistons having rods parallel to each other in the rotary actuator, and by fitting the pins formed on the piston rods into the grooves of the central lever of the main body. CONSTITUTION:A piston rod 11 fixed on a piston 10 and a piston rod 12 fixed on a piston 9 are inserted into the piston 9 and the piston 10 respectively, whereas pins 13, 14 are fitted into the grooves 7, 8 of a central lever 20 of a main body 1. When the piston 10 moves to the right on supply of a fluid from a pore 16, the piston 10 and piston rod 11 generates a anticlockwise torque. Then, the downward thrust exerted at the piston 11 penetrating section of the piston 9 is small as the arm is long. Furthermore, the inclination of the piston 10 in the anticlockwise direction becomes smaller and thus leakage and friction are prevented.
