Device for driving the screws of scissor jacks by means of a driver 5-crank 4 assembly which is inexpensive to manufacture, in which the axis of rotation of the crank 4 can adopt a variable inclination according to the needs, and characterised in that the screw 3 for manoeuvring the jack 1 is welded at 6 to the driver 5; the latter has two openings 5a through which the crank 4 can be introduced and moved angularly with respect to the manoeuvring screw 3 depending on the need, whilst avoiding accidental separation, and the axis of the crank may make an angle with respect to the axis of the manoeuvring screw 3 which can vary from from 0 to 35 DEG . <IMAGE>
