PURPOSE:To report a deceleration state by means of a titled device not by relaying on only a stop lamp, to ensure safety, by a method wherein, even when deceleration is made by engine brake, a deceleration display device is installed. CONSTITUTION:An acel switch 2 is attached to an acel pedal 1, and a centact 4 of a switch 2 and a contact 5 are energized in a condition in which a pedal 1 is not stepped on by a foot 3. A low speed range 7 of a graduations part on a speedometer 6 is brought to an insulating state, and when the graduations part is within a middle high speed range 8, a display lamp 11 attached to the rear of a car 10 is lighted in a condition in which the pedal 1 is not stepped on, and a decelerating state is reported to a following car. Further, a switch 26 is attached to a clutch pedal 25, and is designed such that a contact 28 of a switch 26 and a contact 29 are insulated from each other in a condition in which the switch 25 is stepped on by a foot 27. A fact in which, even if the pedal 1 is not stepped on when a gear is shifted during running, the switch 25 is always stepped on, is noticed, and the display lamp 11 is adapted to be prevented from being uselessly lighted when a gear is shifted. |
