PURPOSE:To contrive to prevent cleaning fluid from foaming and consequently to improve the cleaning performance of the cleaning fluid by a structure wherein a baffle plate provided near a suction port for oil smoke is made rockable so as to be vertical during cleaning and inclined during blasting in a domestic smoke exhauster equipped with functions for removing fatty oils and fats and for cleaning fatty oils and fats adhered. CONSTITUTION:While a blower is in standstill, a baffle plate 31 takes a nearly vertical position, which is determined by the upper end 32 of a suction port 24 for oil smoke and the small projection 33 so as to close the suction port 24. Cleaning is performed under the state as just mentioned above. Concretely, hot cleaning fluid, which is heated by a heater 27 in a cleaning fluid reservoir 26 and jetted from a nozzle 28, cleans the wall surface of a baffle plate 22, the inner wall 25 of a main body and the baffle plate 31 and passing between the upper end 32 and the projection 33, resulting in cleaning the outer surface of the baffle plate 31. When the blower 20 is put into operation, the baffle plate 31 pivots about a supporting part 30 so as to inclinedly move to the position controlled by a stopper 34. Due to the structure as mentioned above, the prevention of the foaming of cleaning fluid and the improvement of the cleaning performance is contrived. |
