PURPOSE:To permit the smooth traveling on a curved road by allowing the right and left wheels to be steered independently by the different steering motors and generating a difference between the steering angles of the right and left wheels. CONSTITUTION:A left front wheel 1 is steered by a steering motor 19 through a shaft 15. A left rear wheel 3 is selectively steered by a clutch 23 and the motor 19. Similarly, a right front wheel 2 is steered independently from the left-side wheels by a different steering motor 20, and also a right rear wheel 4 is selectively steered by a clutch 24. Therefore, when a car travels on a curved road, the above-described clutches 23 and 24 are cut-off, and the steering for the right and left rear wheels 4 and 3 is intercepted by brakes 25 and 26, and the right and left front wheels 2 and 1 are provided with a steering-angle difference and steered independently, and thus smooth traveling is permitted. |
