The cardboard carton, rectangular in shape and with a hinged lid (7), has all four sides of double walled construction with a hollow interior (3c,5c) between inner and outer layers (3a.b, 5a.b). A transparent foil (8) is secured by adhesive (9) over the open top, ocvered by the lid when closed. The base (6) and lid (7) are formed by a single layer of cardboard. The foil is torn away for access to the contents (10) which may be a toy.
