This device is of the type comprising a bag 5 which, open in the downstream direction, arranged upstream of a filter grating 10, hinged about a transverse rod which is horizontal and joined to two lateral horizontal journals 4 on which there are mounted, with freedom of rotation, guide wheels 3 cooperating with vertical slide tracks 2 and an upper gantry 12 supporting means 13 for lifting this bag. The device consists of at least one lateral lever 18 which, jointed to the top portion of the bag, is able to cooperate by means of one of its ends 18a with a part 20 abutting the bag and by means of its other end 18b with ramps 23-24 connected to the slide tracks 2 so as when the bag is moved vertically, on the one hand, at the end of the ascending movement, to swing the bag 5 into the upstream direction and open it, and on the other hand, at the end of the descending movement, to swing it into the downstream direction and press its top edge against the bars 10 and is connected with lifting means comprising a single lifting cable 16. <IMAGE>
