PURPOSE:To attain stable running of a rack by guiding a part of the rack between an intermediate gear meshing part and a pointer running part with projected guide ribs formed on a cabinet before and after the said part thereby preventing buckling or shift of the rack. CONSTITUTION:In turning a pointer adjusting knob 6, a drive gear 6 is moved via an intermediate gear 4 to drive a variable capacitor 7 for tuning. Then the gear of the rack 3 is driven by the intermediate gear 4 at the same time to run the pointer 8 fitted to the tip of the rack 3. Then the running of the rack 3 is guided for the part between the meshing part of the intermediate gear 4 and the pointer running part by the rack guide ribs 1d, 1e, 9a provided directly to the cabinets 1 and 9 before and after. Thus, buckling or shift of the rack 3 is prevented and stable running is obtained and no guide chassis is required to decrease the cost. |
