PURPOSE:To enable various machining in a machine tool to be controlled through two NC units by executing simultaneous machining through two NC units or machining through any one NC unit selectively. CONSTITUTION:In a machine tool to be controlled through two NC units, two NC units NC1, NC2 will transmit/receive signals each other to execute simultaneous machining only when the spindle control conditions are common while execute machining only at one end through any one NC unit for different conditions where the other NC unit will wait until finish of machining under said spindle control conditions thus to execute machining alternatively. Since simultaneous machining and machining through any one NC unit can be executed selectively, diversified machining can be achieved. |
